EFEE's 12th World Conference on Explosives and Blasting came to the Royal Dublin Society from 9 to 12 September, hosted with the Irish Mining & Quarrying Society: an emissions workshop on the Sunday, technical sessions and the exhibition in RDS Hall 4 on the Monday and Tuesday, and a networking dinner at the Guinness Storehouse in between.
ShotTrack exhibited for the second EFEE World Conference running, with the VoD and ViB ranges on the stand. Quarrying was front of mind in Dublin, where the Institute of Quarrying launched the third edition of its Explosives in Quarrying Handbook, and blasting in quarries close to people is the setting a lot of our ViB monitors work in.
Our thanks to EFEE and IMQS. Conference details are at efeeworldconference.com.
