The ISEE Australian Chapter's 8th Drill & Blast Down Under Conference was held at Crown Perth on 23 and 24 October, opened by Western Australia's WorkSafe Commissioner, with a programme spanning equipment, decarbonisation, fragmentation, risk, underground blasting and optimisation.
ShotTrack exhibited for both days. With a regulators' panel on the programme, a good share of the conversations on the stand were about vibration compliance: what a defensible record looks like, and how to get one without a lot of handling in the field.
Thanks to the chapter and its sponsors. Papers and slides from the conference are published by ISEE Australia at iseeaustralia.org.
