Building the standard for
blast measurement and modelling.
ShotTrack is a privately held company. We build scientific-grade blast monitoring instruments and ShockAI, the platform that holds the measured record of each blast and opens it, on the operator's terms, to the models that predict the next one. We share information selectively with prospective partners and investors who share our long-term vision.
At a glance
Global installed base
Instruments deployed by operators across five continents, from open-pit mines to major civil works.
Hardware + recurring software
A durable instrument business paired with the ShockAI platform for analysis and reporting.
Regulatory tailwinds
Rising compliance and social-license expectations are expanding demand for rigorous, easy-to-use monitoring.
A platform others can build on
ShockAI is built to be open. Our own blast models run on the same interface we offer to everyone else.
A developer API
The ShockAI Model API is one contract between a blast's measured record and the models that predict it. A model receives a typed blast case and returns typed predictions with their uncertainty, and the platform shows them in the 3D visualiser, on the blast page and in reports.
Bring your own models
Teams run their own models beside ours on their own blasts: a formula carried over from a spreadsheet, a site law of their own, or a model hosted on infrastructure they control. Every model passes the same conformance checks, and nothing reaches a hosted model until the team's owner agrees to send it.
Towards a model marketplace
The same interface is open to specialist modelling providers. Our vision is a marketplace for the industry: a provider integrates once and reaches every operation on the platform, and operators choose the models that have earned their trust, scored against what their own blasts measured.
Research partnerships
We work with universities, research groups, manufacturers and operations on the open questions in blasting. Field instruments and measured records, shared only with the operator's consent, go into work that moves the state of the art for the whole industry.
Why now
A market outgrowing its tools
Vibration and energy monitoring started in mining and blasting, but the same problem now sits across civil, rail and road infrastructure. Demand is moving faster than the instrumentation built to serve it.
A decade in the field, a young platform
ShotTrack instruments have been in the field for over a decade. ShockAI now brings what they record into one structured record of each blast: the design, the holes as drilled and loaded, the firing times, VoD, ground vibration and airblast. It is the record a prediction can be checked against.
Models can be held to the measurement
Blast models have long been judged on assumed inputs. A platform that holds what each blast actually did lets any model, ours, an operator's or a specialist provider's, run on measured cases and be scored against the result. That makes blast modelling a product rather than a one-off study.
